This mod makes small adjustments to the legendarium. The mod is based on the TV series, and there are also some characters from books and a travel guide. The geography and content of distant lands are invented by the mod team. The relations of the states of Westeros are taken at the beginning of the second season, and the relations of the states on other continents are logically calculated from historical facts. This was done in order to revive the empty regions of the world and bring some balance to the game. Therefore, if you suddenly see a non-canon, do not rush to report it as an error!
Game of Thrones Mod is a huge expansion for Minecraft 1.7.10 that aims to add the world of popular series into the game. The mod is based on LOTR mod, it has been in development since May 2019, with a great amount of planned features yet to come in the future.
With swordplay and sorcery, personal drama, political intrigue, and hundreds of characters, George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire is fantastic source material for strategy games and RPGs. HBO's Game of Thrones series is over, but we're still waiting for the final novels to arrive, so to pass the time why not create your own stories and conflicts
It's hard to find a better match between game and mod than Crusader Kings 2 and the full-conversion A Game of Thrones mod. It transforms CK2's medieval Europe into the continent of Westeros. With random events and your own decisions quickly entangling the characters you know and love (or hate), your game will quickly veer from the story you remember into a kind of bizarro-world fan-fiction.

One of the best is the Diplomacy Overhaul mod, which drastically changes the direction of the game, shifting away from combat into politicking and backstabbing in true GoT style. Be sure to play this one on multiplayer, though, as the game's base AI doesn't handle the changes well.
With these 9 Game Of Thrones mods, you've got endless opportunities to learn the age-old adage of Valar Morghulis (\"all men must die\") in RTSs, RPGs, and even open world crafting games! From total conversions to small add-ons, these mods will definitely get you in the mood for the treachery and action that's sure to define Game of Thrones Season 7.
I, and a small group of others have started this project to ensure the whole world of GoT is created through minecraft, right now we are still building: starting with The Wall. This will (hopefully) soon be a singleplayer/multiplayer adventure map through which you travel through the game of thrones world, skillfully build by our small project team(hopefully :P).We are only a small team of 6 as of now so if you would like to join us on this quest to build the whole world with as much scale, splendor and detail as possible, please feel free to PM me.To give you a sense of the scale we are aiming for, as of now, it takes 20 minutes to get from one end of the wall(the shadow tower) to the other (Eastwatch by the sea)Thank you for taking your time to read this and (again hopefully) support us in a unique (yes we know of westeroscraft, but we're aiming to be better as we will handplace and shape the terrain ourselves to make it as realistic as possible) and do it in our own way :P
Many past creations from full game worlds like Skyrim or Hyrule have caught our eye in the past, but it is the newest creation, a Game of Thrones-themed Minecraft world, which has us extremely impressed. What a few clever players have been able to do, in this case, is painstakingly recreate King's Landing, one of the major settings in George R.R. Martin's 'A Song of Fire and Ice' book series.
Just thinking about the amount of man-hours that must have gone into creating King's Landing in Minecraft gives me a headache, but nonetheless I am impressed by these intrepid gamers' dedication to a craft (pun intended). The various images featured at the top of this post were submitted to Reddit a few days ago, along with a URL for the King's Landing server (www.westeroscraft.com).
An owner of every console since Atari, Anthony is willing to try any video game, good or bad, but prefers the ones that involve a deep and involving story. With the Ocarina of Time gladly sitting as his favorite game of all time, Anthony is a sucker for any game that has players wielding a fabled sword, but can still appreciate everything from a solid sports title to a game with a deep multiplayer experience. By eventually combining his love of video games with his skills in film, Anthony hopes to make Game Rant a fun place to explore all facets of pop culture.
In Simply Houses, players will stumble across already built homes more frequently. Each house is filled with loot, meant to help players early in-game. This mod is fantastic for players who are looking for a little extra help when they first start or want to stumble across a house filled with decent loot.
With TheObsidianBoat, you can now make boats out of obsidian in-game. This is extremely helpful now when you're in the nether or deep underground surrounded by lava. All you'll need to do is make an obsidian boat, and you can travel safely.

The only good Game of Thrones video game, that had an official license from the show and the approval from the writer himself seemed to be Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series, which was quite successful but very soft-lived. The graphic adventure by Telltale Games was a series of interactive cinematic cutscenes, which at certain points allow the player to make choices influencing the way the story unfolds.
The game has a fantastic mod dedicated to the story and characters know from Martin books called AGOT (A Game of Thrones mod) which was created by fans of the show and the books that spotted the perfect gameplay of CKII.
Dragon Age: Origins gives you an uneasy task of gathering forces capable of stopping the seething hordes of the Darkspawn: people of Thedas twisted by dark magic. In Inquisition, you move your forces to address crises and engage in diplomatic and military conflicts yourself. On both counts, there is some of the Game of Thrones DNA visible, but although Inquisition has a mod adding the Iron Throne to the game, Origins is closer to ASoIaF in general tone.
The mention above games will both let you feel like a powerful lord or small, less important character and you can do almost anything with them. For all the unsatisfied fans of the show, this is the perfect opportunity to create an alternate, maybe better, ending to this fantastic story, while for those who just will miss the show, it is a nice touch of nostalgia that can be carried through many long hours of gameplay of one of these fantastic video games.
